Create a video blog...instantly.

i only know Maui, and that would be Wailea and Kaanapali.

and "Are most people who live in hawaii of native hawaiian descent?"
hmm, there are demographic research data on that on the internet somewhere. if memory serves, as easily accessible as to Google "moving to hawaii" and you'll get sites devoted to that subject, with that data. my best guess, geez, truly and honestly native Hawaiians are maybe less than 20%. lots of transplants especially in the last 100 years though, so a lot of people as old as in their 80s will also consider themselves Hawaiian, and that could push the numbers to 70%.

Caffeinated Content

In addition to the areas already mentioned, Manoa, Nuuanu, and parts of Kailua are more upper class. But nowhere on Oahu are there areas with consistently large lots. You might have one house on a large lot, next to others that are nice houses, but on a postage stamp sized lot.

About 10% of the population are Hawaiian or part Hawaiian.

Hawaii Kai, Kahala are the "richer" neighborhoods on the Island of Oahu. Private schools are located fairly close, but the traffic here is horrible.

Hawaii is a melting pot of people, but you find mostly Polynesian/Hawaiian people and Asian Americans here. Caucasians are the minority in Hawaii, so if you are Caucasian, and have a problem with other ethnicities, then you better get over that attitude quick.

Doesn't matter where you live, though, crime is a problem (break-ins, cars stolen, etc.).

Yes, the people who are in Hawaii are Native Hawaiian and come from Hawaiian decent. But, there are some Hawaiians that live in the mainland.
