Planning a Vacation to Hawaii

There is nothing quite as good as a Hawaiian vacation, packed with lots of fun, to help prepare you for the year ahead. Hawaii’s wonderful beaches are just what the doctor ordered to wash away the dusty cobwebs since your last holiday, and a Hawaiian vacation package will recharge your batteries and prepare you to take on the world again.

No matter when you are going to head to the Hawaiian Islands, the temperature is mild. There is no need to concern yourself with winter’s cold or summer’s heat in Hawaii. Each day of the year, temperatures are going to be warm enough to go swimming but not so hot to go outdoors. If you’re a surfing enthusiast, the best waves generally appear during the winter season. Even on the warmest days of summer, the trade winds offer cooling sea breezes.

Visit all six islands if you’d like, or simply just laze around on the one of your choice. Each Hawaiian Island is distinct having its own appeal, and each is a joy to go to.

Oahu has famous Waikiki Beach, the state capitol of Honolulu, as well as Pearl Harbor where you are able to tour the USS Arizona memorial. A lot of vacationers pick Oahu if visiting the Hawaii Islands for their first time. It’s not just the most popular Hawaiian Island and the one most visited by tourists, but it’s best for sightseeing if you are interested in history. You’ll probably have to spend time here during your vacation to Hawaii, since most flights to and from Hawaii use Honolulu as a hub.

The island of Kauai is located north of Oahu. It is, geologically, the oldest of any of the Hawaii Islands. There is much natural beauty to experience on this island. There are also lots of opportunities for intimate getaways or outdoor activities.

Travel south from Oahu and you will find Molokai. Molokai has a substantial concentration of people of native Hawaiian ancestry, and they continue to be strongly connected to their remarkable traditions and heritage of their past.

Lanai does not have any traffic lights. It is among the least crowded of all of the Islands and it is the perfect place for romance and privacy. Additionally, you will find two good golf courses.

Then we come to Maui, the second largest Hawaiian Island. Maui happens to be in the middle of the humpback whale migration route, which means is fantastic for whale watching at the right time of year during the winter season. The beaches are outstanding, and the first choice for many people wanting a relaxing beach vacation.

The Big Island of Hawaii is certainly that – big. This island has more land area than all of the other islands of Hawaii put together. Of the thirteen climatic zones that exist in the world, eleven are found here. On the Big Island is an active volcano, black sand beaches and snow covered mountains.

Cheap Hawaii cruises are one way to see the islands. A seven-day cruise trip will provide you with about a day and a half on each one of the Hawaiian Islands with exceptional cuisine and accommodations onboard the cruise ship. Most of these cruises will start out and end in Honolulu and feature entertainment during your travel between the islands.

Should you prefer to sleep on land, it is easy to find a Hawaii vacation condo. They will range from condominium and vacation homes, villas, bed and breakfast accommodations and cabins.
