Maui is very nice. I’ve never been, but my Mom went and said it was beautiful. It’s a lot less crowded than other islands too

Kauai-The Garden Island! Beautifil Scenery beaches, most secluded and easily the most romantic of all the islands! Stay on the South Shore in Poipu for the nicest weather, and ejoy everything Kauai has to offer snorkeling, hiking, fishing, kayaking, you name it, helicopter rides through some of the nicest places on earth you will ever see, secluded water falls. Oh man all this talk about Kauai I got to book myself a ticket! lol enjoy stay away from Hawaii, aka Honolulou, way overcrowded, Maui to expensive, Big Island so large its overwhelming. Kauai you can drive the whole island in a few hours and you will never run out of things to do, especially in a week!

I have been to Maui 4 times in the last 5 years. It is the best Island for everything. There are party spots, relaxing spots, great scenery. I stay in the Napili area which is on the northwest shore near Kapalua. It is very quiet there with great beaches! The only downside to staying there is it is a bit of a drive to Kihei & the southside of the island, but worrth the drive for sure. Have fun & Aloha!!!!

Maui is the place. Find a place in Lahaina to stay.

My favorite is the Big Island, great Scuba diving and a very laid back atmosphere. Plenty of sights; Place of refuge, coffee plantations, downtown Kailua-Kona, Hilo, great beaches on the Waikoloa shore, Waipio lookout, Southernmost point in the U.S., etc. Many people say the Big Island has the most “aloha” spirit. Judge for yourself;

It really depends on what you want to do. Each Island offers its own unique draw. The Big Island is unique with huge volcanic mountains and active lava flow, lush tropical forest in Hilo and farming community in Waimea and drier but more developed Kona.
Maui offers a great mountain sunrise, lush forest near Hana, more lavish accommodations, great town in Lahina.
Oahu is full of things to do, the most populated and offers more tourist kinds of things to do. Nightlife, restaurants and shopping are easy to get too, but it lacks the tropical charm unless you stay up on the North Shore at Turtle Bay.
Kauai is just beautiful. You can see the grand canyon of the pacific, the cliffs and awesome tropical vegetation. Poipu beach on the south side of the island is one of the best in the world though.
You can’t really go wrong, it really just depends on what you want to do all day and how much you want to spend. Then you could get some more direct answers.

I would suggest Kauai as the greenest and lushest island, and one of the most mellow, least crowded and touristy. Get the “Ultimate Kauai Guide” on Amazon or whatever–its got the best info on where to stay, what to do, etc. There are great hikes in a number of different spots, gorgeous botanical gardens, snorkeling with sea turtles, very peaceful beaches. I’ve found it a great place for decompressing. Go in the late spring, summer or early Fall, as other parts of the year can be quite rainy.
