I am trying to buy a manufactured home for a reasonable price on the big island in Hawaii but can’t find any.

You should make sure they allow trailers in Hawaii.

the transport cost with additional funds.
A manufactured home, often comes with all the appliances
(dishwasher – tub – kitchen sink). If you have a strip down
model, and buy your fixtures local, you can save a lot of cost.
In the United States there are many manufacturers: Cost of
transport is a main consideration point.
The type of foundation for a manufactured home will make
the main difference for the building codes.
