Has anyone rented a house in Hawaii for vaca?

I can no longer stay in the hotels b/c my family now numbers 7! So were looking for homes to rent for a week or two weeks. Has anyone done this? I see tons of options out there looking for experiences people have had. Any island is fine just need to start doing the research! Thanks so much.

while i was in hawaii my dad rented us a condo at the turtle bay resort…. 808-293-2800…it’s not actually part of the resort itself but you can still use their beach….and they’re rele nice places. it’s on the north shore…..oahu….that’s the best that i can think of (it also offers 4 pools and tennis courts)

Howzit Realtor, look in craigslist.com….go to hawaii… then vacation rentals…whatever island u want. There are lots but during the winter it’s impossible to get one on the North Shore of Oahu because of the big surf, they’re booked 1 yr. in advance during the winter. Kailua or Kaneohe on Oahu’s Windward side is good. Schraeder’s in Kaneohe Bay, Napili Bay Hotel on Maui is good. Any condos on Napili Bay for families w/ kids (Google or craigslist “Napili Bay” or West Maui condos …..or Kihei (South Shore Maui)
