One, having an exercise program will help you lose weight; two, your appearance and general self esteem will improve drastically; three, this will contribute to your overall health and wellbeing; and four, you will be spared the extra burden of having to buy new clothes.
What if you have been told by your friends that you really need to lose weight? They may have a point. Before taking that step, consider who is making the complain. Is it a recommendation from your doctor? Is it someone who is particularly concerned with your health without being unreasonable? That being the case, do not overlook their suggestion. Do not become embarrassed when you are told that you need to lose weight. Bear in mind that the person making the recommendation may really have your interest at heart. Their concerns may go beyond your appearance; it may be concerns with your health. So do not feel embarrassed and turn a deaf ear to their suggestions.
A fourth sign that you may need to lose weight is when you notice that tasks that you normally carry out with ease now cause so much tension. There is a chance that you now easily go out of breath from performing simple task because you have a weight problem. Just lose weight a little, and you would likely see a drastic change in your stamina.

Before proceeding, it is wise that you consult your doctor so that you can make the best out of your weight loss program.
